Dakota Wint’s expedition introduces the hidden world of unique traditions, rituals and religious practices of tribal people around the globe:

Dakota Wint is quickly making a name for himself as a nomadic traveller, filmmaker, content creator (YouTube and Podcasts) and social media Influencer. After all these years of travelling, Dakota has come to believe life itself is a living mystery as nobody knows the reason behind a human existence ” but here we are, floating on a planet through infinite space, around a giant fireball explosion”. The world being billions of years old has still left to explore. there are a lot of places where indigenous tribal people are still actively involved in many spiritual and cultural practices which they perform in order to connect with the spiritual or hidden worlds of earth. Therefore, to reveal behind the taboos and hidden world of unique traditions, rituals and religious practices Dakota has dedicated the majority of his life to exploring these.

In one of the videos named “Holy Men of The Dead” ” on his channel which was released in June 2021, Dakota documented his visit to India where he spent a year studying the different sects of Yoga in India and showed showing his adventure and Eventually meeting the group of human-eating-cannibals, in the holy city of Varanasi, called ‘The Aghori’. The Aghori do post-mortem rituals and use dead bodies in their spiritual practices to obtain earthly powers and spiritual enlightenment. Most Hindus consider this group to be terrifying and avoidable at all costs.

Currently, Dakota is working on his first novel which includes a badly influenced Kerouac and Ginsberg styled story about a runaway travelling south to Mexico, where he ends up Peyote-drunk and in love. Other than this, it is his dream to continue travelling the deepest corners of the world, spending time with unusual and interesting people, making documentaries, writing poetry, and living a life worth talking about around campfires. Dakota further mentions that on his YouTube channel, he has collaborated with famous personalities like Alex Grey, Ram Dass, Tommy Chong, Krishna Das and Kat Graham

There are many more incredible awakening experiences Dakota has gained from his travels, both as a spiritualist’s as well as a globe-trotter’s point of view. He’s also delighted to be able to share the experiences of these native groups with the broader audience. In case you wish to know more about these stories, follow Dakota Wint on:
