Dr Suzanne Soliman is a big name in the world of pharmacy, this is not only because of her efficiency and skill in her field of work but also because of how passionate she is about women’s rights in a career that often shows gender inequality.

“I have always wanted to help women no matter what, and my profession allows me to do so.  Since pharmacists can do a lot to help out other individuals in need of a supporting healthcare system, they need to take proper care of their patients and prioritise them accordingly.”- Dr Suzanne Soliman.

Women have been the harbingers of change and development and have been the chief of this race of change and evolution are unbelievably many. We have seen, whenever women have been given a chance to shine, they leave back no questionable flaws behind them, and shows their worth to the whole world. Being quite interested

“My passion has always been to help women and to help advance my profession of pharmacy. I believe that pharmacists need to have increased recognition for all of what they do in the healthcare system and how they take care of patients. Other women may consider you a threat but you believe there is always room for more women. Systemic gender bias makes it harder for women to be in leadership positions so you may find yourself being that “token woman”. This situation is even more amplified for minority women. It isn’t easy”, said Dr Suzanne.

Dr Soliman has more than a hundred publications where she projects her ideas on women issues, pharmacy and parenting nationally. She also received many prestigious awards. This includes the Rufus A. Lyman award for the best manuscript in the American Journal of Pharmacy Education. She also received the Next Generation Pharmacist Civic Leader Award in 2019.

Due to her work, she was featured in the following media platforms like The New York Times, ABC7NY, Daily Voice, “New York Magazine”, “Crain’s Chicago Business”, “Time Out Chicago” and more. With more than 17.4k followers on Instagram, Dr Suzanne Soliman also happens to have a strong social media presence, as is expected from her.
